Aada: Ergotherapie-Praktikantin bei Schritt für Schritt

„My name is Aada. I am 26-year-old occupational therapy student from Finland. I wanted to do my last internship abroad with nature and animals. As I was searching places, I found this wonderful project on the farm! I really like it here, and the Austrian nature is so beautiful! (we don’t have mountains in Finland).

My internship in „Schritt für Schritt“ & Lilienhof lasts about 2 months. Here you can see me both in „Schritt für Schritt“, and in the stable. I will graduate in spring -25. after that, my plans are wide open!

Having a background as a practical nurse, I have experienced the work with various client groups. Most of my work have been with mental health issues, as one of my interests is in psychology. In occupational therapy I find it very fascinating that not only with sensitive attention for the individual, but also experiencing, using creativity, and mapping the motivation we can grow together.

I am all in for new experiences, good conversations, self discovery, nature, various crafts and activities, mindfulness, and travelling.. I like to live in the flow of curiosity, and use what I learn in my work as a therapist. Last but not least – I’m grateful to experience this lovely place, and learn a new language along the way!“
